    Interesting article. I thought it was funny that readers complained about how neat the spaces were; surely no writing space is that tidy. My MacBook Pro liberated me to write and research anywhere there’s WiFi. And yes, now that I think about it my “desktop” is cluttered

    I so appreciate this comment. I work in complete chaos. I try to change it, clean everything up, but it slides back toward the abyss. Going to a coffee place with my laptop is one of my joys.
